Elevator Pitch

I don’t know about other authors, but when I get asked “what’s your book about?” I tend to freeze up. Especially if I have thirty seconds or less to get the message across. (It’s called the “elevator pitch.”) Obviously I need practice. So here are some ideas!

Sixteen year old Raven, brand new Lunatic, must defend herself and her family from an unkillable Old God with her very new and scarcely understood magic, while dealing with old family secrets and doing her best to convince a certain Cait Sidhe he’s not too old for love. If you enjoy action-adventure romantic fantasy like Tracy Deonn’s Legendborn, or Lauren Roberts’s Powerless, Blue Moon will not disappoint.

Newly fledged Lunatic Raven Callahan has a problem: Her family is keeping important things from her, she’s in love with a stubborn male who thinks he’s too old for her, and her family is under attack from creatures from her grandmother’s past. As if it wasn’t bad enough that her newly acquired moon magic is a huge challenge and COVID has the world on hold! What’s a sixteen year old to do? If you enjoy fantasy like Tracy Deonn’s Legendborn and Lauren Roberts’s Powerless, you will enjoy Blue Moon, The Lunatics~Book Two.

The Old Gods want her dead. Her family is keeping her in the dark, and the frustrating male she’s in love with thinks she’s too young for him. Raven Callahan is a newly minted Lunatic; the power of moon magic is hers to wield…if she can just figure out how to do so in time to prevent her family from being murdered. Blue Moon is an action-adventure romantic fantasy in the tradition of Tracy Deonn’s Legendborn and Lauren Roberts’s Powerless.
