The creature of light can only be freed through the selfless sacrifice of another under the bloody moon. Only the song to end all songs will save those trapped within the dark realm, preventing their deaths, and the destruction of worlds.
Raven Callahan has a problem. Actually, she has several problems. Her boyfriend, Kellas, is behaving oddly, cancelling date nights and disappearing without explanation. The God of Darkness isn’t any better. Her parents have perfected ‘helicopter parenting.’ Her awful bellyaches just keep getting worse. And... there’s that dratted prophecy. The one that says she’s supposed to be the savior of an entire clan of fairy cat shifters. A neat trick no one in a thousand years has been able to perform.
Prophecies are tricky things, and the Oracle at Delphi is particularly adept at making them as clear as mud. Not to mention terrifying. Sacrifice whom, precisely?
Raven must decode the prophecy quickly and take immediate action, or an entire race of magical beings will die and multiple realms will collapse. But how to accomplish that remains a mystery she has no idea how to solve.
And the prophecy’s last sentence?
The chosen one may die.
